Amy Enbysk was born and raised in Bellevue, Washington before moving to Oregon to attend college at the University of Oregon. After that, she spent years living in Portland and working on local political campaigns and as a Legislative Assistant in the Oregon State Legislature. After years of wanting to live in the City of Seattle, she’s excited to finally be in the city and even lives in District 6.

As District Director, Amy assists Councilmember Dan Strauss in scheduling district meetings, attends community events, corresponds with residents, assists the councilmember with managing their in-district presence and helps with communications. When she isn’t working, Amy enjoys singing and playing music on her guitar, cheering on Seattle sports teams, or spending time outdoors.

Kate joins Councilmember Strauss' office with a wealth of experience from state government and an in-depth understanding of our city. She previously worked on early learning and child welfare policy at the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families, served many District 6 residents as legislative aide to State Senator Reuven Carlyle, and has experience with community behavioral health services working at Navos Mental Health Solutions.

Born and raised in Seattle, Kate lives with her husband, new baby, and dog Bartlet. In her free time you'll probably find Kate working on various home renovation projects and adding to her power tool collection. She holds a BA from Scripps College in California and is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Administration at the University of Washington. Go dogs!

Naomi Lewis

Naomi was born in San Diego and raised in Las Vegas. She received her B.S. in Urban Studies from UNLV in 2018. During her time in undergrad, she was the Senator for the College of Urban Affairs and successfully advocated for students to have access to clean and free tap water. She worked for an environmental advocacy non-profit, the Nevada Conservation League, where she helped pass 11 clean energy bills and 3 public lands bills that were signed into law by the Governor. After graduating, Naomi worked for U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen where she was the first point of contact for constituents and assisted with getting them to the services they needed. Naomi then worked for the City of Las Vegas while completing her Master of Public Administration at UNLV. At the City of Las Vegas, she worked on implementing form-based code, transit-oriented development, and updated design standards for parklets and streateries. Finally, she worked for the City of Henderson as a Planner II where she assisted with various sustainability initiatives and land use policy.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking. She has a goal of visiting all 63 National Parks and has been to all three in Washington state!

Anthony Rodriguez was born in Paso Robles, CA but grew up in Central Texas where he attended college at Baylor University for Political Science, History, and Communications. After graduating, he moved to Austin where he worked in political fundraising for progressive causes until getting a job with the Texas Office of the Attorney General in Child Support and then the Constituent Affairs Division. Seeking adventure and wanting to return to his West Coast roots, Anthony moved to Seattle and has been loving the city ever since.

Anthony’s responsibilities include supporting the office’s communications work, assisting the District Director with community events, assisting policy advisors with research, and being the point-of-contact for administrative tasks such as managing the Councilmember’s calendar and scheduling. In his free time, Anthony loves bouldering, spending time outdoors, and is a PC gaming nerd.
