This project will replace the existing play area and make accessibility improvements to the pathway from the parking lot to the play area. This project will use synthetic safety surfacing in the play area. If necessary, this project will also hire an artist to repaint the Salmon Slide. All improvements will meet accessibility and stormwater requirements. The play area is being designed by SPR in-house Landscape Architects and this is the second public engagement event for this project. This project’s scope has been expanded and will now include an internal renovation of the restroom building to meet all current accessibility requirements.
