Washington Park Playfield is located in the Washington Park Arboretum. It has fields for soccer, baseball, and softball and includes lighting and bleachers.
Current Project
An SPU watermain break occurred under Washington Park Playfield in June 2023. It was recently repaired, and Seattle Parks and Recreation will begin restoration work on the playfield starting November 15. We have hired Coast To Coast Turf. They anticipate the work will take 4 to 6 weeks, however weather impacts may require additional time. Portions of the field will be closed during construction and about 20 parking spaces will be blocked off for the construction staging. Park users may see construction vehicles being flagged into and out of the park.
